Your skincare routine is so important if you are looking to maintain a healthy and young looking skin. Here are some reminders:

Oatmeal contains 18 amino acid which  helps rebuild tissue and promote healing for the body. It contains antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds that soothe itchy, dry and irritated skin.

 

Add Oatmeal to your diet.

Personally, I like to eat Oatmeal for breakfast with raisins, almonds, banana, berries and brown sugar. It is healthier to not add sugar. Adding milk is optional. Here is some ideas for platting.

Oatmeal is also great for your skin. It helps with acne because it absorbs oil from the skin’s surface. Oatmeal makes a perfect ingredient for facial masks ans serum. I am going to share with you few recipes that you can make yourself at home. It will only take few minutes and you can even use some of your breakfast oatmeal for your face-mask. For better results be consistent.

DIY Make your own serum

Add 2 spoons of oats to one cup of water for 4 hours and stir every few minutes. Take the water into a spray bottle. Shake and spray your face two times daily and massage your face.Leave it on for about one hour then wash your face. This serum will make your skin soft, will help with acne, blackhead and will reduce the amount of oil in your skin. Use this serum before you go to bead.

DIY Make your own face mask

  1. Add two table spoon of powder milk to two table spoon of the oats left in the cup. Stir well and leave it aside for an hour to combine well. This face mask contains lactic acid which brightens, smooths, and evens skin, while also making it look firmer. It also helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots.
  2. Use oatmeal left in the cut directly on your skin without adding anything as mask. Rise after 10 to 15 minutes
  3. One spoon of cooked oatmeal, 1 spoon on honey and few drops of rose water. Rinse after 10-15 minutes.
