6 Rejuvenating Bath Soaks for Me Time
Every woman needs “me time”. Time for herself away from everything and everyone. Learn to spend time by yourself and use that time to just be. Pamper yourself, listen to music and relax.
Close the bathroom door. Fill up the bathtub with water and your favorite salt, fruit, herb, oil. Light candles, turn on the music and don’t think about anything or think of your favorite place, the place that makes you smile.
Few important things to remember Before the bath:
- Have a washcloth ready to gently rub your skin after the bath to remove dead skin cells
- If your water is not filtered add a cup of baking soda to help neutralize the chemicals and it will help boost liver function.
- Get as much of your body under the water.
- The hotter the water the more you will sweat and the more you will detox.
- Prepare your spa water.
- Get your lotion out.
- Have your bathrobe, towels, cloth and hair products ready.
- After the bath you will be too relaxed so bring a chair to the bathroom to use to apply your lotion and get your hair done.
- Remember this is your spa at home time so a glass of wine is also an option.
- Setup an alarm for 20 minutes so you can get out.
